WARE manager Paul Halsey has boosted his side’s attacking options by snapping up experienced striker Jason Hallett and winger Robbie Buchanan.

Hallett, 34, arrives from Waltham Abbey and has previously featured for the likes of Chelmsford City and Canvey Island.

Buchanan is a young wide player who was with Welwyn Garden City last term.

A number of players also been retained from last season: Liam Hope, Dave Kendall, Rechan Esprit, Finlay Titchmarsh, Patrick Adamson, Gareth Madden, Louis Rose, Marcus Milner, Ethan Gannon and Reece Crowter.

The Blues ran out 8-0 winners in their opening friendly against Hoddesdon on Wednesday. Albert Adu and Hope bagged two goals apiece.
