■ ROVERS were outclassed by a dominant Aveley who ran out easy winners.
George Sykes opened the scoring for the visitors who never looked in trouble.
Sykes struck in the 22nd minute after Tim Brown in the Rovers goal had initially made a good save, but the ball fell kindly to the youngster who made no mistake.
Samuel Jeremiah levelled from the spot in the 39th minute after George Cox was brought down in the box.
Just before half-time the visitors took the lead again when captain Alex Akrofi let fly from the edge of the box.
