BILLERICAY overcame local rivals Canvey Island in a professional performance by the Blues courtesy of Matt Price’s goal against his former side.
It was an even contest throughout and the visitors had a few chances in the opening proceedings. Jamie Salmon’s strike went straight into the hands of Harry Seaden and Canvey Island were a threat on the attack.
