AVELEY seized upon dropped points by Bishop’s Stortford to go joint top of the table with this hard-fought victory over relegation-threatened Herne Bay.
Goals at either end within seconds of each other inside nine minutes set the tone, but Siju Odelusi’s 68th-minute penalty ensured the Millers stole the points.
