LYE STAY IN HUNT FOR PROMOTION

LITTLE Lye Town continue to defy the odds and remain in the thick of the promotion race after coming from behind to beat a quality Quorn side.
It was Quorn who made much the better start and shocked Lye by taking a fourth-minute lead when striker Billy Kee crossed for Devon Kelly Evans to convert from close range.
The goal clearly knocked Lye out of their rhythm but they rapidly recovered to level after 19 minutes with a sumptuous solo goal from Maxwell Ngbeken who surged past a string of Quorn defenders to score with angled drive....
