■ THE Larks’ superior finishing saw them win out against their Berkshire visitors in style.
Thatcham had the first chance with an effort that flew across the face of Adam Forster’s goal.
The Larks were giving Callum Smart plenty to think about and after Harvey Pritchard came close, the deadlock was broken by Alex Lambert.
Although Thatcham started the second period strongly, the Larks doubled their lead thanks to Jake Hicks, who finished off a great move with a lovely low strike past Smart.
Sub Ryan Beckinsale sealed the victory.
