Spot-on Peters rescues Millers

NEWLY promoted Burgess Hill Town seemed poised for their third straight away win only for two late goals from Aveley’s Ollie Peters to spoil the party in a Friday night thriller.
Peters pulled a goal back for 3-2 on 78 minutes, from Jaden Brissett’s cross before then equalising from the penalty spot five minutes later after Rowan Liburd had been fouled.
The Millers created the early chances and took a deserved 13th minute lead when Suley Zuhdu capitalised on a misjudged pass from Josh Spinks, finishing past the keeper.
