■ WARE won the local bragging rights with a convincing win before a bumper crowd.
The visitors started well and took the lead midway through the first half through Reece Beccles-Richards, who was set up by Theo Ofori on a quick breakaway after Hertford had had a penalty shout for handball dismissed. A few minutes later Ofori then doubled the lead from the spot after being brought down by keeper James Callan on the edge of the box.
