Yeovil Town got 2026 off to a dream start with a deserved win over Braintree Town at Huish Park.
Quickfire second-half goals from Luke McCormick and James Daly made it 2-0before Lewis Walker’s deflected strike ensured a tense finale.
However, Brett McGavin’s free-kick ensured there were no January blues for the Glovers, who remain 15th.
