AFC Whyteleafe moved up to third in the Isthmian South East standings after overcoming Eastbourne Town at The Saffrons.
In a closely fought first half, the visitors went close but fired just wide of Chris Winterton’s goal.
Then, Slav Huk was called into action at the other end – making a fine double save to deny Billie Clark and then Eliot Jenks.
However, it was Leafe who went in front towards the end of the first half.
