Elated Chipie Sian couldn’t hold back the tears as Jack Hopkins’ late winner helped Punjab United reach the semi-finals of the Isuzu FA Vase for the first time.
In only their ninth season in the National League System, the Southern Counties East League side are just 180 minutes from Wembley, leaving the popular chairman/manager, who set the club up as a Sikh-based community hub in 2002, almost speechless afterwards.
