LUKE’S IN FOR SWIFT NEW ROLE

BOSS Jason Maher has left Heybridge Swifts after just four months for failing to keep the club at Step 4.
And in his place, the Swifts have lured Bowers & Pitsea co-boss Luke Wilson to Scarley Road in a bid to lead the proud Essex club’s return to the Isthmian League.
Wilson played 126 times tifpor Bowers, scoring 24 goals, winning both the Essex Senior League and Essex Senior League Cup. He also turned out for a number of clubs including Aveley, Hashtag United, Tilbury, Billericay Town, Grays Athletic, Heybridge, Tilbury and AFC Sudbury.
