Rooney lands Ustabasi coup

MACCLESFIELD FC boss John Rooney has pulled off a major transfer coup with the signing of Jon Ustabasi from AFC Fylde.

Ustabasi was one of National League North’s star performers last year, scoring 16 goals in 29 games to help the Coasters to the title.
The 32-year-old brings a wealth of experience having featured previously for the likes of Chorley and Stalybridge Celtic after beginning his career out in his native Turkey with Denizlispor, Fethiyespor, Yesil Bursa and Bursaspor.
