Taking Harrogate Town into the Football League for the first time felt like climbing Everest for manager Simon Weaver – and now he wants to do it all over again!

Originally appointed player-manager when the Sulphurites were in National League North in 2009, Weaver has led the Yorkshire club through the most successful period in their history.
Following promotion from Non-League’s second tier in 2017-18, Weaver took them to the promised land of the Football League with a memorable 3-1 win play-off final victory over Notts County at Wembley in 2020.
