■A CROWD of almost 1,100 saw Bromsgrove Sporting finally end the hex their arch rivals had held over them in this Worcestershire derby since April 2022.
Rouslers fans could be forgiven for fearing the worst after summer triallist Szhem Whyte-Hall continued his free-scoring pre-season exploits by planting a superb looping header past Sporting keeper Tony Breeden in the 12th minute to convert a corner from on-loan Notts County player Harrison Hazard.
