PITCH PRIDE GETS GEORGE MOW-TIVATED

EASTLEIGH’S head groundsman George Sheath has earned plaudits worldwide – after going viral with his unique pitch design.
George upped his game for the Hampshire derby with Aldershot Town on Monday by creating a striped pattern on Eastleigh’s Silverlake Stadium pitch while also depicting the club’s Spitfire logo in the centre circle.
Shared on social media, the striking pitch attracted admirers from all over the globe, prompting the club to hail the work of their talented mower.
