A sad farewell to famous grounds

NO true football supporter likes to see a club fold so I was delighted to read that Maldon and Tiptree’s future is now ensured.
Over the years, I’ve watched my club Wealdstone face its own long battle for survival, playing at various groundshares, before finally settling in Ruislip, with prospects for the club’s future looking promising.
Therefore, I sympathise with supporters of Harrow Borough, former neighbours and bitter rivals, who, unfortunately like us, have been forced to sell their ground to survive.
