THACKER’S IN AS NPL CHAIR

CURRENT National League director Martin Thacker MBE has been unveiled as the new independent chairman of the Northern Premier League.
A former vice-chairman of Chesterfield FC, Thacker will succeed Mark Harris in the role, starting on November 1. Thacker brings extensive experience in football administration, governance, business leadership and public service.
He is currently a director of the National League, a trustee of the National League Community Trust and a member of the National League Academy – positions he will now relinquish.
