■BASINGSTOKE secured their first win since August, pulling away in an entertaining second half.
A poor first half saw Malvern’s best chance fall to Joe Tumelty whose shot inside the box was blocked, while Jezz Okine-Peters scuffed a golden chance wide for the hosts. Stoke took the lead on the stroke of half-time as Bernie Tanner whipped in a cross that was forced over the line by a massed bundle of players as it dropped.
