manager Sam Ricketts has hinted at more signings to come during their pre-season trip to Portugal.
The side landed in Portugal on Monday night and take on Louletano DC this evening as their preparations for the new season continues.
The Dragons boss signed 20-year-old striker Rekeil Pyke on loan from Huddersfield yesterday and has confirmed that more signings are to be expected.
“We've got two or three more players roughly to come in when the quality becomes available,” he told the club's website.
“Things are bubbling under the surface, some may happen sooner rather than later but we're fine with a good side because we always want good players.”
Ricketts says he wants “eager and inspiring” players that will try and do something in the game by going above and beyond.
Wrexham trained for an hour and a half training yesterday morning ahead of today's game.
Ricketts added: “We try and make the sessions so they're enjoyable but also hard work as we're trying to get into the players what we want and what we expect for this season. They key is putting on sessions that the players want to do and then let them drive the sessions themselves.
“We have to be careful with what we're doing but pushing the physical boundaries as well.”
A second session took place in the evening which Rickets invited supporters to spectate.
Wrexham's first game in the National League takes place at The Crabble Athletic Ground, on August 4 against .
