The FA Trophy second round qualifying draw has been made, with 40 ties scheduled to take place as clubs continue their push towards the Wembley final.
The first round qualifying ties were played over Saturday with some games taking place on Friday.
Weymouth made one of the biggest statements, cruising to a 5-1 victory over Melksham Town, while Pontefract Collieries hit seven without reply against Padiham.
Meanwhile, Horley Town reached the second qualifying round for the first time after beating Punjab United 2-0.
There was also late drama at Stalybridge Celtic, where Andy Scarisbrick’s 82nd-minute winner saw Jon Macken’s side edge out Bradford Park Avenue 2-1.

When will the second round qualifying take place?
The default date for all 40 ties is Saturday 12 September 2026, with kick-offs scheduled for 3pm.
There are no replays at this stage.
If a match is level after 90 minutes, the winner will be decided by penalties.
Any postponed fixture must be rescheduled within the postponement window and played on or before Thursday 17 September.

What is the FA Trophy prize money?
There is £2,250 on offer to every winning club in the second round qualifying, while losing sides receive £575.
The prize fund increases as clubs progress:

When are the next rounds?
The third round qualifying is scheduled for Saturday 26 September, before the competition reaches the first round proper on Saturday 24 October.
The final will take place at Wembley on Sunday 16 May 2027.
