Exciting new Lincoln City striker Lee Angol is ‘like an iPhone’ says boss Danny Cowley

DANNY COWLEY has described new loan star Lee Angol as being like an iPhone 7 and says Lincoln's new loan striker is a “huge signing”.

Angol, who joins on loan from League One Peterborough until the end of the season, is no stranger to having starred for in the 2014-15 campaign when he was on loan from Luton Town.

The livewire striker scored 32 goals in all competitions and also netted in the Conference South play-off final to help Wood into Non-League's top tier.

“He's like an iPhone 7 because he can do a bit of everything. He's good with his back to goal, he can hold the ball up and he has got a great touch.

“He's got two good feet and has the pace to go and run the channels. He's one of those boys who is blessed with a bit of everything. He's a great addition to our squad and is a huge signing.”
