Canvey’s hopes flushed down Pan

A WORKMANLIKE display from Lewes was enough to earn them a 2-1 victory over a Canvey Island outfit that were beaten but by no means disgraced at the Dripping Pan.
A goal in each half was enough to secure an important three points for Craig Nelson’s side, who remain in the final play-off spot.
The visitors started brightly and created a good chance inside four minutes when Finlay Dorrell’s effort was punched to the feet of Chris Harris who couldn’t connect with enough power to capitalise.
