Brentwood Town boss Keith Rowland says tightening up last season’s shaky defence is his summer priority.
The Blues enjoyed an impressive first season at Step 3, finishing fifth in the Isthmian Premier before losing a thrilling play-off final 2-1 to Billericay.
Their tally of 84 goals was the highest in the division after champions Folkestone Invicta and runners-up Aveley, but they also shipped 66 – 15 more than any other team in the top five.
