Simon Weaver insists Harrogate Town’s relegation setback has only strengthened their resolve as they aim to repeat the “Everest” climb back to the Football League.

Taking Harrogate Town into the Football League for the first time felt like climbing Everest for manager Simon Weaver – and now he wants to do it all over again!
Originally appointed player-manager when the Sulphurites were in National League North in 2009, Weaver has led the Yorkshire club through the most successful period in their history.
Following promotion from Non-League’s second tier in 2017-18, Weaver took them to the promised land of the Football League with a memorable 3-1 win play-off final victory over Notts County at Wembley in 2020.
