CHRIS Whelpdale’s brace saw Burgess Hill earn a point in an entertaining draw at home with Leatherhead.
941 watched and it was a quiet first-half until Luther Williams exploded from defence, unleashing a rocket which visiting goalkeeper Sonny Wheeler could only parry.
Whelpdale gladly thumped the rebound in off the post, giving Hill a slender advantage with their first shot of the afternoon.
