Scunthorpe secured their place in the National League play-offs despite being held to a Good Friday stalemate by stubborn Hartlepool United.
The Iron lacked the necessary quality to breach a visiting defence that shipped seven goals in midweek.
But boss Andy Butler was not too disappointed given the point was enough to ensure his side will end the campaign inside the top seven and get a shot in their first season back in Non-League’s top flight following promotion at a return to the Football League.
