Cumbrians raid Heed for pair

CARLISLE UNITED boss Rob Elliot has raided former club Gateshead for defenders Brad Nicholson and Kenton Richardson.

Nicholson helped Elliot’s Heed to safety last season after joining part-way through the campaign from Solihull Moors.
Elliot said: “Brad is a winner. He wants to win, he will give everything for the team, and he will give everything for the players.”
Fan-favourite Richardson, who made 130 appearances after joining Gateshead in 2022 and was a key part of their FA Trophy win in 2024, has makes the same move.
