On-loan Harvey Broad’s brace is enough to maintain AFC Fylde solid start to the season whilst also handing Forest Green Rovers’ second league defeat in a week.
The 20-year-old was brought in on a season-long loan from Coventry City as cover for the now departed £600,000 striker Danny Ormerod.
And he fired Fylde in front on 65 minutes and added a second three minutes later to secure the three points.
“I can’t wait to watch Harvey’s goals again,” boss Craig Mahon beamed. “We are lucky to have him.”
