JORDAN Marshall is back playing in the north-east after 13 years after becoming South Shields’ first summer signing.
The Newcastle-born defender has joined the Mariners after spending the last three years with Welsh Premier side The New Saints.
Marshall, 29, came through the academy system at Carlisle United before building valuable experience in Scotland-with Queen of the South and Dundee.
