STRATFORD held off a late comeback from strugglers Dunstable to claim all three points at Creasey Park.
After two inspections the pitch was passed fit to play, and the match got off to a fast start with both the Blues and their visitors adopting an attacking approach.
Powerful visiting forward Mike Taylor was a handful from the off and quickly produced a great save from the home keeper Will Hunt early on, but was not denied in the ninth minute when he headed in Will Grocott’s corner.
