YATE and Tiverton were forced to settle for a draw in an even contest but the dropped points now makes Yate’s home game with Hendon on Wednesday even more important as the battle heats up in the lower half of the table.
After some early sparring, Ross Staley fired over in a Yate raid and Leighton Thomas was also off target when he latched on to a misplaced header from the visiting defence.
