AVELEY claimed all three points on the road despite having to hold off a fastfinishing Great Wakering Rovers.
The victory was secured thanks to goals from Alex Akrofi, Amir Berkane and Harry Gibbs.
They led 1-0 at the break and then turned on the style early in the second half.
Tony Martin was on target with a second-half double for the hosts, the first a free-kick and the second a controversial bundle in at the far post.
