CHIPSTEAD were unable to keep their unbeaten run going, as they lost at home to a spirited Ashford side.
Chips took the lead after 21 minutes, when Jerry O’Sullivan, up from the back, was on hand to turn home the loose ball in a goalmouth scramble
But Ashford were level three minutes later, as Ben Peden headed home from a corner
The home side pressed to regain the lead, with a Tom Smith shot into the side netting the closest effort
