MULHERN’S FAST DOUBLE HELPS SETTLE FIERCE DUEL

FRANK Mulhern’s brace salvaged a point in a six-goal thriller during an afternoon where Gainsborough Trinity would have left stunned against bottom side Workington.
It cancelled out Daniel Ogwuru’s brace, sandwiched between Kai Nugent’s first-half finish as Russ Wilcox’s men roared into life.
Trinity captain Lewis Butroid hit the crossbar in the first-half and their luck wouldn’t change shortly afterwards.
