BURY gained another key three points at the top of Division 1 West thanks to a narrow victory over Nantwich Town at Gigg Lane.
It keeps Anthony Johnson’s side top of the table with two games to play.
The Shakers’ best chance of the first half came within 20 minutes.
DJ Pedro’s pinpoint cross was met by Kai Evans but his header went narrowly over the bar.
