■LINCOLN kept their hopes of a play off place alive with this victory.
There was a lively start from both teams and United took the lead on six minutes when a slick passing move allowed Rob Norris to pass the ball into the far corner.
Newcastle equalised on 25 minutes when Daniel Cocks bent a free-kick around the wall into the far corner.
Kyle Blake shot wide for Newcastle early in the second half, but Lincoln regained the lead with 20 minutes to go when the ball bounced kindly, for Conner Robinson who fired home from ten yards.
