TWOstrikes by top scorer Mark Bitmead saw the points secured for Ashford Town.
A desperately poor first half saw both sides struggle to create a chance.
The game finally came alive on 59 minutes when Bitmead cut in from the right and curled a beauty past Brendon Hazlett. SYCOB got back on level terms via a 71st minute Charlie Losasso penalty following a foul on Jack Lyons.
