AIRBUS UK BROUGHTON’S relegation from the Welsh Premier League was confirmed yesterday after their 2-1 defeat at Rhyl in the Conference group.
The Wingmakers gave themselves a lifeline when they took the lead two minutes into the second half when Steve Tomassen tapped in at the far post following a free-kick.
But it was not to be as Rhyl levelled on 77 minutes through Chris Rimmer before Steve Lewis tucked home the second.
In the other Conference group game, Newtownwere held to a 1-1 draw by Cefn Druids.
