■TIVERTON continued their promotion push with a hard fought victory over mid-table Winchester City.
Tivvy had the better of the play in the first half and had already seen a Mike Landricombe header hit the post and a Tom Bath header whistle narrowly wide.
However, in the 43 minute, Tivvy’s leading scorer Levi Landricombe found some space at the back post. And from a gorgeous Nick Hurst cross he fired his 33rd goal of the season with a low shot past Lewis Notice that left the Winchester keeper with no chance.
