■THREE clinical secondhalf finishes saw Yate deservedly return home with all three points.
But it could have been so different. Matt Neale played Wimborne’s Toby Holmes through in the third minute, only for keeper Harvey Rivers to stand tall and make the first of a number of good saves.
Wimborne’s increased tempo at the start of the second half came to a stop when Jack Ball headed home a left-wing cross on 53 minutes.
Substitute Luke Bryan got on the end of a high through ball to score with his first touch on 78 minutes.
