CHIPPENHAM finished their campaign with three reasons to celebrate, as Southern Premier winners, a league record 103 points and the division’s top scorer Andy Sandell.
But their final game was marred when St Ives striker Josh Dawkin suffered a broken leg before half-time, halting play for an hour.
Visiting keeper Tim Trebes nearly had an embarrassing moment soon after the kick off, with his clearance rebounding off Jake Andrews and creeping past the upright.
