CHESHAM UNITED won on their travels as Biggleswade Town put in a lacklustre performance in their first home game of the season.
With both teams introducing a number of new summer signings, the Generals line-up gelled better than their hosts.
One of Chesham’s new recruits, former Kings Langley striker Lewis Toomey, saw his shot rebound straight to Victor Osobu, who made no mistake to put the visitors ahead.
The Waders went straight up the other end with Craig Daniel adjudged to have been fouled in the Chesham box.
