SLIMBRIDGE battled to a welldeserved win at Paulton to open the new season.
On 21 minutes Rovers should have scored as Dave Sims’ shot was blocked, while Ryan Radford fired wide.
Sims drew another save from Hall but on 39 minutes but was fouled by skipper Alex Hoyle, and James Byrne thumped home the penalty.
Slimbridge levelled on 75 minutes as sub Marley Thomas turned home a cross from the right…
And four minutes later they went ahead as Thomas broke tapped in following a rapid break forwards following a Paulton attack.
