BRIGHTLINGSEA REGENT 1
TOOTING returned to the Premier Division after a gap of five seasons and were held by Brightlingsea Regent in a clash of last season’s Division One North and South champions.
Tooting made the early running and Jake Baxter went close twice.
However, the visitors went in front after 26 minutes when a free-kick from Aaron Condon was headed home by the impressive Tom Richardson.
Ten minutes later Regent went close again when Aaron Condon hit the post.
