MACEY QUITS RAMS

PETERSFIELD Town boss Jim Macey has quit after the relegated side conceded 17 goals in two games.
Twelve days ago, the Rams were beaten 7-0 in front of their own fans by Hamble Club in the Sydenhams Wessex Premier Division.
Last Saturday, they were hammered 10-0 in a league game at Blackfield & Langley.
Macey resigned the following morning saying he had decided to take a break from football, while questioning the commitment of players.
Macey’s coaching staff of Shane Brayson, Tim Farmer and Mark Summerhill have been placed in charge of the team until a permanent successor is found...
