IT TOOK until the second half, but Phoenix Sports romped to a comfortable victory over Hastings United thanks to Jack Barham’s special hat-trick.
In a pretty even first half, Phoenix Sports had the majority of the play but Hastings had the better chances, with both teams wondering how it was scoreless.
Nine minutes into second half Barham opened the scoring for Phoenix Sports, striking home from close range.
Barham was to get on the scoresheet for a second time soon after, but his work was far from done there.
And it only took until the 64th minute to complete the hattrick...
