SUN’S GONE DOWN FOR OUR SEASON

WATFORD-based Sun Sports have suddenly quit the Spartan South Midlands League, writes ROBIN JONES.
The club have lost the use of their Bellmountwood Avenue home ground after a dispute with its owners, and an emergency groundshare plan at Kings Langley’s Gaywood Park home failed to materialise, after the Southern League ruled it would be unacceptable because of that club’s commitments to Watford FC Ladies this season.
