SALISBURY may have been scoring goals for fun latelybut it took a disputed penalty to give them all three points at Yate.
The match’s decider came two minutes before half time, Chris Shepherd fouled by Charlie Hitchings before getting up to beat Harvey Rivers.
The visitors were well on top in the first half without really testing Ed Perrett.
Yate did have one real opening but Ben Brooks failed to hit the target when put in the clear after great play from Mayson Evans.
