BRIGG TIME AWAITS LONGER

HIGHLY-RATED Matt Briggs has brushed aside interest from a number of top clubs to sign a new contract at Dorking Wanderers.
The 20-year-old winger has been touted by Premier League duo Stoke City and Crystal Palace as well as Ipswich, Millwall and Portsmouth after being described by Dorking’s chairman and manager Marc White as the “hottest prospect outside the Football League”.
But the former Wallsend Boys club captain has decided to extend his stay with the newly-promoted Bostik Premier Division side until the end of the 2018-19 season.
